Luckily, one of the biggest gravel events on the planet, the Belgian Waffle Ride, happens right in our own backyard here in San Marcos. Didn’t score a one of the sold out spots in this May’s big event? Well, have no fear, there’s now the Triple Crown of Gravel! BWR’s Lentz is More MTB Category
For those that might be considering riding a mountain bike for the Belgian Waffle Ride, our friend Simon is going to walk you through his setup to ride the Lentz is More mountain bike class for the Belgian Waffle Ride this May. Here’s what you need to know to enter in this category:
MTB- 2.0 or larger tires
Flat or rise bars
The Lentz is More category was created in memory of our TASCO teammate and friend Kevin Lentz, who tragically passed after suffering injuries from a vehicle collision while on his mountain bike. Kevin was always up for a challenge, so this category is not for the faint of heart. All proceeds will be given to Kevin’s family.
