Belgian Waffle Ride - Wafer Group (4 month training program)
In the four months together, we had these riders successfully complete the Wafer by implementing these strategies -
Dirt skills - riding with confidence and learning importance of picking your line.
Pre riding the course which was a game changer.
Accountability with weekly check ins and workouts.
Gear selection from shoes to bike to tire selection and set up.
Training program to increase endurance and improve hill strength.

Ken taking 2nd place in Marathon National Championships.
I trained very hard and was tired almost all the time. I had pretty good results but I was looking for changes that could bring me to the next level. So about a year ago I hired her to coach me.
Chi revamped my strength training making it fun and dynamic and she restructured my on-the-bike training, providing much needed focus.
As a result I was not chronically tired and my race results improved. By implementing strength training, cross training, fine tune cycling workouts and develop a recovery strategy, I felt stronger than ever and enjoyed many podium moments.

Frank training for Leadville
Sometimes I tend to go overboard in life - training included. With Chi looking over my training plan, keeping tabs on my progress, and suggesting changes, I am much less likely to overtrain.
As a result MY WORKOUTS ARE MORE PRODUCTIVE AND ENJOYABLE, and I have the peace of mind to go 100% with a lot less second guessing of my decisions.

Michael training for the Belgian Waffle Ride - the full Waffle
Michael’s goal was to complete in under 12 hours which he did successfully.
Michael’s success was because of
A consistent training program that he was able to adhere to with his work and family.
Weekly high intensity days to improve stamina and hill strength.
We altered his strength program to include total body movements and core work.

Rock Cobbler Gravel Training - 6 hour goal
I love to ride and do it whenever I have time (2021: 7,730 miles and 530k feet). I do a few events each year and try to choose those that match my current fitness level so that I am sure to have a good time. I signed up for The Rock Cobbler many months in advance. Then the inevitable winter fitness decline happened and as the event approached I realized that I was not in for a good time. So I asked Chi for help getting that fitness back.
Chi was able to put together a training program that fit my riding style. We looked at my twice-a-week group rides and made sure they were part of the schedule because I enjoy them. She gave me some rides where the profile was a suggestion that could be loosely followed and some sessions to be followed strictly. When I occasionally did rides that significantly deviated from the plan, we would rearrange the rest of the schedule around what I had done. I rarely felt like I was "training."
Chi's off-the-bike, core workouts were easy to follow with the companion videos to demonstrate proper form. I found them especially useful on rest and easy days to maintain the feeling of progress.
The result was that I had a great time at Rock Cobbler. I achieved performance goals that we had set (finish position vs. other riders and a stretch goal of finishing in 6 hours) and increased my fitness to better enjoy longer rides.
